LICENSING YOUR WILI-S FIRMWARE

Your copy of WILI-S firmware comes with no license included. A license key will be provided later once we obtain the MAC address of the device that is going to be used with the WILI-S firmware.

The licensing process consists of simple steps:

OBTAINING THE LICENSE KEY

In order to obtain a license key for your WILI-S firmware copy, you must provide the MAC address of the device that is going to be used with WILI-S firmware. The MAC address can be obtained by following these steps:

• Flash WILI-S firmware to your device.
• Once the device reboots, log into it through an SSH connection.
• In the CLI (command line interface) shell, enter the 'status' command.
• Find the 'Network configuration' part of the command output and write down any of the interfaces' MAC address.
• Enter one MAC address per device into on-line license generator or e-mail this MAC address to licensing@wilibox.com. On-line license generator appears by your purchased product.
• Your license key will become available to download.

• Save the license key in some accessible location on your computer
• Connect to the device's administrative interface using your web browser
• Login and go to the 'Licensing' menu on the left
• Press the 'Upload' button
• Select the license key that you saved in the first step and then press the 'Upload' button
• Reboot the device and login into its web interface again
• If the license key was installed successfuly, the status page will display 'License status: valid'
