WILIBOX RCMS Server - Version 1.30
LICENSING YOUR RCMS SERVER
Your copy of RCMS Server comes with an allocation of one or more unassigned
licenses. Each license can be assigned to any machine that has an Ethernet
network adapter.
The licensing process consists of two simple steps:
- Generating a license key request and sending it to WILIBOX.
- Obtaining and installing a license key.
GENERATING A LICENSE KEY REQUEST
To assign a license to a particular machine, a license key request must be
generated. To that, run the included 'license_request' program on the
machine you want to assign a license to. It will generate a file with a
license key request for the default network interface on the system (eth0 in
most cases). It will also display the name of the network interface and
the name of the file it created containing the license key request. The
network interface does not need to be connected to a network, but must be
configured with an IP address.
If 'license_request' is unable to generate the license key request, it will
display an error message and exit. In such case, please contact WILIBOX
at licensing@wilibox.com for assistance.
SUBMITTING YOUR LICENSE KEY REQUEST
Email the license request file(s) to WILIBOX at licensing@wilibox.com. Your
request will be processed as quickly as possible, and a license key will be
emailed back to you.
INSTALLING YOUR LICENSE KEY
Once your license key request is received and processed, the license key will
be emailed back to you along with installation instructions.
The license key is a file named License_key.txt, and it must be copied to
<install_root>/var/www (which is /opt/wilibox/var/www be default).
If you have any problems, contact WILIBOX for assistance at
support@wilibox.com.
