Deliberant and WILIBOX Sign Distribution Agreement for United States and Canada

Deliberant LLC and Lithuanian based WILIBOX announced today the execution of a distribution agreement granting Deliberant the right to market and distribute WILIBOX networking software solutions in the United States and Canada.

"Recognizing the growing demand by Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISP) for more economical mesh network and wireless solutions, Deliberant moved quickly to obtain distribution rights for WILIBOX software".

The current suite of WILIBOX software, including WILI-S, RCMS and WILI MESH, opens new horizons for the deployment of 802.11 networks, implementing functions and network structures previously available only on expensive enterprise and carrier grade wireless devices.

WILI-S is a portable embedded Linux based software platform suited to implement highly functional, secure and manageable wired and wireless IP networking devices: HotSpot access points, access controllers, enterprise access points, fixed 802.11abg wireless network elements, base stations and customer premise equipment (CPE) and high performance, secure point to point or point to multi point wireless bridges. WILI-S allows WISPs to build robust, secure, and dependable wireless networks. It is fully configurable to handle almost any scenario imaginable, which, when partnered with Deliberant's customer support, results in the ultimate WISP platform.

RCMS (Remote Configuration Management System) is a centralized monitoring and management solution for wireless network equipment based on the WILI operating system. At the heart of RCMS is a powerful and efficient engine that securely gathers, interprets and records information from registered network devices, and makes that information available to network administrators through a convenient, secure, and attractive Web interface. RCMS is a great addition to the advanced software features of WILI-S as it allows the remote management, monitoring, and administration of WILI-S devices, resulting in a much lower TCO.

WILI MESH is a new addition to the WILIBOX family and allows for all the great features of WILI-S, teamed with the self-forming and self-healing characteristics of mesh networks. WILI MESH is a secure, QoS capable, portable Linux based OSI layer 2 wireless mesh networking software platform which targets enterprise, campus, WISP networks covering significant areas with 802.11 wireless access. WILI MESH is capable of functioning on numerous embedded hardware platforms with single or multiple Atheros chipset based radio modules as well as on ordinary PCs.
